Meet Our Latest Sigma Chi Bobcat

Avery Mlicki ‘20, a rising senior at the University of Arizona and loyal member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, has recently been selected for the 2023-2024 class of Bobcats Senior Honorary. One of only thirteen students to be chosen, Avery will spend the next year serving the university and its extensive alumni population. “I wanted to surround myself with a group of motivated individuals from across campus to give back to the University of Arizona and the community,” says Avery, “additionally, I hope to hold a few positions within the honorary and form new relationships with my peers.”

Avery is an active member of both Sigma Chi and the university community. Fulfilling the roles of Queastor and Pro Consul within the chapter, he also holds leadership positions in Investments Club and the Wall Street Scholars Program. Outside of his numerous campus involvements, he enjoys golfing, playing hockey, working out, and going out with his friends.

On track to earn his degree in Finance in 2024, Avery’s proudest achievement from his college career thus far is obtaining an investment banking internship this upcoming summer in New York City. He hopes to pursue a career in the same area after graduating and plans to eventually enter the private equity field.

To Avery, Sigma Chi is more than just a fraternity. “Sigma Chi has given me a home and a family at the U of A. I am so grateful for my undergraduate experience within the chapter– it has given so much to me.” Being guided to several external opportunities and experiences through his Sigma Chi brothers, he encourages any future members of the chapter to get involved both in the house and on campus.
