Note: All alumni, family & undergraduates are welcome at Friday Golf, Friday Hall of Honor, Friday Bay Horse Tavern, Saturday Pre-Game Tailgater, Saturday Football Game Group Seating, and Saturday night DJ Dance Machine, Food Trucks & Bar Events at the Historic Hotel Congress. We recommend you call the Historic Hotel Congress for your reservation. We have over 90% of the Hotel reserved for Sigma Chi's. You also receive a discount. Nearly 50% of the rooms are booked, but there's still rooms available! Call 520-622-8848 for reservations. Parking garage is $9 per day if staying at Hotel Congress or free street parking on the weekend. When Hotel Congress sells out you can check with the Hampton Inn across the street.
Friday, November 3rd
8:00 AM - UA Greek Homecoming Golf Tournament at AZ National Golf Club that supports the Barleycorn Scholarship Fund, the Campus Pantry, and the UA Greek Life Leadership Fund; There were a 125 golfers last year. (Learn more here.)
3:00 PM - Check-in at Historic Hotel Congress, 311 E. Congress Street, Tucson, AZ 85701 (some are checking in on Thursday, November 2nd); Call for reservations at 520-622-8848 and state you are a Sigma Chi for your discount
4:30 PM - 56 Passenger Charter Bus will be in front of the Hotel; All Aboard to the Bay Horse Tavern on Grant Road (we have the Bay Horse rented for Sigma Chi’s ONLY from 5:00-9:00 PM)
5:00-6:30 PM - Beta Phi Hall of Honor at the Chapter House; 1511. E. First Street; Help Us Honor Bob Ellis ’84, Kevin Stombaugh ’91 & Brent Menke ’92; Casual Dress; We Will Provide Food & Drinks (There Will Be a Shuttle picking up anyone who plans to to go to the Bay Horse Tavern at 6:30 PM)
5:15 PM - Bus returns to Hotel Congress to take the rest of us to the Bay Horse
6:30 PM - Bus goes to Sigma Chi Chapter House on campus to pickup Hall of Fame Honorees, attendees, and Active Chapter Sigs who want to have a good time
6:45 PM - Black Jack Pizza Buffet For All - Pizza & Salads - Gluten-free will be available
9:00 PM - Last Shuttle to Hotel Congress & Sigma Chi Chapter House
Saturday, November 4th
7:00 AM - Walkers meet in Lobby; bring the walking map of Downtown from your room
8:00 AM - Breakfast at Cup Cafe, Hotel Congress at your leisure
4;30 PM - BBQ at Sigma Chi Chapter House (for those at Hotel Congress there will be shuttle to the Chapter House but you can also take the Street Car to Campus - it drops you very near the Kappa House - Chapter House is 1 block North )
7:30 PM - Football Game vs. UCLA, Order Your Football Tickets Below; You Can Choose to Sit Any of the Sections But a Bunch of Sigma Chi’s Are in West D, Rows 17-22, Seats 1-20 (these seats are much closer to the field on the westside of the stadium and hopefully some shade as well if afternoon game)
7:30 PM - Hotel Congress Patio, large space for eating, drinking & dancing, food trucks, 3 bars, DJ Dance Machine
Sunday, November 5th
7:00 AM - Walkers meet in the Lobby
