2026-2027 Sigma Chi Academic Scholarship Portal Now Available

We are sharing this message to ensure all undergraduates are aware of the Sigma Chi Scholarship application process, as well as letting alumni know, in case you are aware of any student who should be informed.

Please notify your chapter(s) that the Sigma Chi Foundation's 2026-2027 academic scholarship applications will be available on Wednesday, February 11, at 12 p.m. (CT) and will have a submission deadline of Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (CT).

Foundation scholarships are available only to active members in good standing of Sigma Chi – undergraduate and graduate, and sweethearts for our Chapter Sweetheart award.
Effective July 1, 2023, any initiated member who does not complete the R4L program within 90 days from their initiation will be ineligible to receive a scholarship from the Sigma Chi Foundation. COMMUNICATION
E-mails will be sent announcing the availability of the applications to all active undergrads, pledges, recent graduates (within the last five years), and chapter sweethearts.
Information about the scholarship program will also be posted on Sigma Chi and Foundation social media –Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Reminder e-mails will be sent to all applicants at least twice before the deadline.
A link to the applicant gallery will be sent via e-mail to all Grand Praetors, house corporation officers, chapter advisors, consuls, and scholarship chairs in late February / early March. This gallery will display the status of each chapter's applicants.

The Foundation awards scholarships to undergraduate and postgraduate brothers as part of our goal to promote academic excellence and lifelong learning. The Foundation seeks to recognize brothers who demonstrate outstanding character in action, academic achievement and commitment to their chapters, campuses and communities.
All scholarships are made possible through the generous donations of your Sigma Chi alumni brothers, families and friends of the Foundation.
